The Belleville Public Library will be hosting a continuation of their popular Genealogy 101 workshops this Spring. Genealogy 201 - Beyond the Basics will consist of four different workshops on consecutive Thursdays in April from 10-11:30 am.

Session 1 - April 5 - Using newspapers for genealogy research

Session 2 - April 12 - Religious records and genealogy

Session 3 - April 19 - Guest speaker Amanda Hill of the Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County ***FREE tour of the Archives afterwards

Session 4 - April 26 - Guest speaker Carol St. Clair - a handwriting expert who will help you to figure out someones personality by analyzing their old handwriting ***Bring your own sample of your ancestors handwriting!
