Mélanie B.

Melanie B. photoIt’s me, the girl with the weird accent! For those who wonder, I’m born in Quebec.

That said, I read much better (and more) than I talk. Nowadays, I read more Graphic Novels, Short Stories and Cookbooks. Not that I don’t enjoy novels!  It’s really hard for me to stop reading in the middle of a book. Before I had kids, reading all day and eating a banana sandwich for dinner was not a problem. Now it’s a bit more complicated. I got tired of hiding in the closet or the bathroom to finish a chapter and find my kids drawing on the walls or eating honey, olive and salami toast with a side of mess when I finally got out. I opted for “easier-to-put-down” books for the moment.

If I’m not reading, I’ll most probably be cooking or gardening. It’s fascinating to watch a tiny seed become 10 pounds of veggies and then use them to make tasty food.

Et si vous voulez pratiquer votre français, ou si vous avez juste envie de l’entendre parler, venez me voir. C’est toujours un plaisir!
