COVID-19 Safety
Belleville Public Library and the John M. Parrott Art Gallery have returned to full operations. We are no longer asking patrons to limit their stay in the building. Computer use has been returned to 2-hours per day maximum, and study tables are no longer under a time limit or booking system. Lounge furniture and increased numbers of public computers have been moved back on to the public floor for your enjoyment. Sanitation routines have been reduced to normal levels.
Indoor programs and events have also returned to the Library and Gallery. See our What's On Calendar and our social media accounts for more information on all of the great programs being planned over the next few months.
Room rentals are available again. Check our website for more information.
The book return at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre is now open.
There are no longer any proof-of-vaccine requirements for indoor programs or room rentals.
As of March 21, as per Provincial regulations, face coverings will be optional for patrons entering the building. Food and drink will also be allowed.
Before you visit the library and gallery:
Take the COVID-19 self-assessment test. If you have symptoms, if you may have been exposed to Covid-19, or if you are awaiting Covid-19 test results, please stay at home and do not visit the library or gallery.
We encourage residents to regularly check the information being provided by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
Thank you for helping keep our community safe!
