I’ve always loved learning about history. A lot of my interests seem to have stemmed from this passion. It also explains why I went on to pursue degrees in history and education. I have always loved to learn and teach others. Naturally, historical fiction feels like an extension of this. A way of imagining what life was like in the past and hopefully gleaning from it lessons for the present. Ultimately though, I like a good story. And I am not biased against any genre that can do just that. I enjoy science fiction, weird fiction, horror, and classics. If it transports me to another place and possibly another time, I’m a happy reader.
