Tuesday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  Acrylic: Playful Marks and Composition

Often when learning to paint, we focus too much on making the ‘perfect painting’ and we lose touch with the benefits of simple exploration. In this workshop, we will use colour mixing along with a tray full of found object ‘tools’ to explore a variety of ways of getting paint on a page. Using our results, we will investigate ideas of composition by cropping, editing and matting our work. Come and play!
