JMPAG Juried Exhibition - Call for Entry
The Parrott Gallery invites Quinte area artists of all disciplines to participate in a juried exhibition of of original artwork in the JMPAG Biennial Juried Art Exhibition.
We encourage art work in all mediums and hope for a variety of unique interpretations of the theme HEART & HOME.
Home is where the heart is and also where the art is. What does home mean to you?
All work for this show will be selected by our jurors: Anne Barkley and Nancy Moore.
Entry forms must be received by our gallery by Saturday, April 25, 2026 along with a non-refundable fee of $25.00 showing intent to submit. See Terms of Entry below.

Non-accepted artwork must be collected between 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Opening Reception & Award Ceremony from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Monday, June 15, 2026
Artwork pickup between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Terms of Entry
This show is open to all Quinte area artists. All mediums will be considered.
Each artist may submit a maximum of two pieces based on the theme:
Heart, Hearth, Earth, Art
HEART & HOME
Hanging work must be no larger than 36” wide (frame size) and must be “ready to hang” (with wire if possible).
All art must be original work, completed in the past year, and must not have been previously on display in any Quinte region Art Gallery.
Sculpture must be portable.
All work for this show will be selected by our jurors: Anne Barkley and Nancy Moore. Their decisions will be final.
Entry forms must be received by our gallery by April 25, 2026 along with a non-refundable fee of $25.00 showing intent to submit. Payable by debit, credit, cash or cheque only. (Cheques can be made payable to the Belleville Public Library. ) Please note that we cannot accept e-transfers.
30% commission will be charged on all sales.
Submission of Work
Descriptive labels (supplied with the entry form) must be affixed to all submitted work.
Artwork must be delivered to the Gallery on Friday, May 8, 2026 between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Artists will be notified if their work has NOT been accepted into the show and all non-accepted work must be collected on Saturday, May 9 between 2.30 – 4:30 p.m.
Artwork accepted into the show must remain in the exhibit until it is collected on Monday June 15, 2026 between 10:00 – 12:00 and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
All artwork will be insured by our Gallery from the time of arrival until the pick-up date.
Artist Statements
Each artist must supply a one page arts related resume and/or an artist’s statement on how your work relates to the theme.
Please supply your resume/statement, titles, medium, size (in inches) and values for insurance purposes by email or in writing by May 1, 2026.
