Curious about the birds that call Belleville home? Wondering who’s visiting your backyard feeder—or what feathered friends are hiding in the woods? Take your first step into the world of bird watching with a Bird Watching Kit from Belleville Public Library!
We’ve packed everything you need for a fun day of birding into one convenient backpack. Whether you’re exploring on your own, bringing a friend, or heading out with the whole family, our beginner-friendly kits make it easy to get outside and start discovering.
No birding experience required—just grab a kit, head outdoors, and see what you can spot!
Who knows? Your next backyard visitor might be the start of a brand-new adventure.
All you need is your Belleville Public Library card and a sense of curiosity.
Each Bird Watching Kit includes:
- A backpack to carry everything
- Two binoculars (adult + kids) for getting a closer look
- A bird identification guide to help you put names to what you see
- A Quinte Conservation Area parking pass so you can get out and explore
- Helpful resources to make your adventure even more fun!
The kits go out for 1 week, no renewals. There is a $1.00/day late fee. Place a hold on our Bird Watching Kits today! One kit per library card at a time. Kits must be returned inside the library at the Circulation desk.
