Behind the Makeup: Q&A with Drag Queen Betty Baker

Betty will be sharing stories, answering your questions about life as a drag performer – and beyond! Whether you’re curious about makeup, performance, identity, or just want to hang out and have fun, this is your chance to connect in a safe, welcoming space.

This free event is for youth ages 12-18.

Finals got you stressed? We’re turning the third floor meeting room into a chill, quiet study zone just for teens! Come hit the books—we’ll have snacks to keep you fueled and supplies to keep you organized!

  • Wednesday June 11, 5:00-7:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 12, 5:00-7:45 p.m.

Youth Chess Club

Join us for a biweekly evening of chess fun! Players of all skill levels are welcome.

For children & youth aged 9 – 17. Children 10 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The chess club meets biweekly on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Thursday, May 15 and 29 
  • Thursday, June 12 and 26

The Youth Chess Club will pause regular meetings in July and August, with a special tournament on Thursday, July 31 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
