DIY Like a Girl Workshop: Hand Tools–Measure, Hang & Fasten
Presented by the Canadian Handywoman in partnership with Belleville Public Library.
Build confidence using the essential hand tools every homeowner should know. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be introduced to and learn how to safely use a hammer, screwdrivers, Allen keys, pliers, an adjustable wrench, tape measure and spirit level while tackling common household tasks. Along the way, you’ll discover practical tips, avoid common beginner mistakes, and gain the confidence to hang items or tackle projects around your home.
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!
Space is limited to just 12 participants to ensure everyone receives plenty of hands-on practice and individual guidance.
Ages 18+. Cost is $15 per person ($13.28 plus HST). Participants can pay using cash, debit or credit at the Circulation Desk.
